Siddharth,
General
Nice Blog. The blog title incessant insanity - to me the title made perfect sense as you write about a lot of topics under the sun. I hope its you who is subjected to the insanity of the world, not the reader by your posts. Just kidding!
Kudos! to you for garnering 9k hits considering you started in last quarter FY 2009-10.
Negatives
Your writing is mostly opinion or rant on something, mostly current affairs. I guess the sting is missing from your writing. The points that you have mentioned, everyone, prima facie would have same views. As a reader of the blog, I need something extra. I guess what you need to do is, before posting just organize your thoughts and then write. And do not try to be politically correct while writing. Its blogosphere, and you have your right to express your humble opinion. People who disagree, have right to do so. But rise above the ordinary thought and go that extra mile.
Usually, you go about writing two or more topics in one post - without clear demarcation. For example, in the business model of Sun Movies, you wrote about Sachin's twitter entry, which is totally unrelated to the topic. Then a nice picture, and finally you start your post. I guess the more appropriate way of doing that would be start with your post first, and in P.S. or P.P.S, just mention about Sachin's twitter thing.
I hope your blog becomes famous. But hey, wide readership means you need to have a universal language. I noticed a lot of images with Tamil captions. Nothing wrong if all your readers know Tamil. But to cater to wider audience, stick to English. The image might be saying something which is the essence of your post, and your non-tamil knowing readers would miss the fun. However, in the B4 Police station post, you have translated Tamil into English for understanding. You may do that always.
Positives
You have good overall opinions on lot of things which matter and it does show in your writings. You combine them with excellent use of images/cartoons, which does a lot of good to your posts (something which I find it hard to do).
Your italics and bolds fall in place. I mean what you want to highlight, emphasize is transferred to reader easily.
I would love to read more from you on the categories you have mentioned. Probably you may think about using Tags as well, as it gets you additional traffic and organizes your posts. Everything which is not a category is a tag!
Your titles make sense and have a definite connection to your posts.
I liked your posts in religion, sports and current affairs categories . I hope you graduate into a seasoned opinionator.
Liked the idea of putting your top 10 into Highly Insane page, and all posts deserve to be in the list.
Keep Blogging,
Sachin
P.S.> Little tighter editing, may be? (Sachin is a God or Sachin is God?)
