Very nicely written articles.......nothing needs to be said about content.
For layout, I actually like the width of the main article to be large enough. In your case, yit's split in 3 columns, see if you can keep 2 columns.

Swetha, you've got good advice so far.... you have good content but the readability on your blog needs to be improved... too many colors make a blog look like a myspace page!
