Here are the top bloggers overall - although I think that finding top bloggers via tag, city or language makes more sense as different categories have varying amounts of traffic.
i think it makes sense comparing different blogs from different sections is like comparing oranges and apples... i agree with the format i think its good!
how does one contest in this Indirank endeavor?
More info on this post!
this rank is valid for 1 month, every month our blog may get better rank or our rank may be descreased. ranking is done only upto1 to 100 in each catagory.
this ranking is combination of alexa rank, google rank, upcoming links, how much frequency of updation of rank .
most important is if your blog rank is 80 then it is good, more the your rank is more good
like cricket pricipal more runs more credit ,more rank more good ,currently no one has got 100 rank.
i really feel it should be indimark/indiscore or something similar!
coz for eg,if x ranks 40 and y ranks 80 ppl generally tend to think that y is better!
but its exactly opposite here!! but may b thats the novelity of indirank!
Not really novelty - look at Google's PageRank. A pagerank of 10 is the highest you can get!
@ Renie: ok i forgot abt Google's PageRank!
Correction:
coz for eg, if x ranks 40 and y ranks 80 ppl generally tend to think that 'x' is better!
sorry i want to make it more clear
i am sure admins will confirm it
if blog A has rank of 60 and if blog B has rank of 77
then blog B is the indi blog of the month, he is the winner, blog b is the winner.
so our aim should be to get the higher rank that is near 80 as no one has got the 100 rank.
do join me on
http://www.indiblogger.in/forum/topic.php?id=617
ok. so that makes blog B #1 but what abt blog A? Is there a way of knowing if it is #2 or #25
Nope- we will use IndiRank to find the best blogs in that category. But we will also choose blogs which have a low rank or not ranked at all, which we believe deserve a chance. This forum will then decide on a winner. So it's a people's choice, really!
@ Renie: alright! thats really nice coz i do think everyone should get a chance!
its very simple , if B with rank 80 is no.1 then then all the blogs with rank 79 are no.2
78 is no. 3 like this
Ok found that I have got ranked too! 68
I am on the first page of the Top Personal Blogs.
Well, congratulations! :-)
Congrats! :)
congrats!!!
mine is 58..
hope it will increase next time..........
congrats!! its cool buddy!
Strangely how did this blog get a rank of 70???
http://bollywoodkibabes.blogspot.com/
Reema, people exchange links and 'help' others gain traffic. Otherwise, of course, such 'blogs' would never have a chance of survival.
Like I said on twitter - sad but true. These kind of blogs do get a lot of traffic. Most of these blogs are rejected by IndiBlogger - this one got in by virtue of original content. Most blogs of this type simply post pics and have titles which are far more... unappetising.
I think such blogs should be removed from Indiblogger....
there are many catagories may be this blog got rank 70 in entertainment tag label.
indi ranks are based on tags catagories ,
Just now I edited my blog keywords and I lost my rank :( Its pending approval now! Sigh!
yes reema now if u edited it it will be verified by admins max it will take 72 hours
but i am sure in few mins or hours it will be done.
Yeah. Its done. :)
reema , good so does it change your rank or its same
its same.
So people with same ranks will be put into the voting right?
But what if the high rank persons keep up their rank and there's no change in situation the next month?
Hey, scroll up - like I said to Reema:
Nope- we will use IndiRank to find the best blogs in that category. But we will also choose blogs which have a low rank or not ranked at all, which we believe deserve a chance. This forum will then decide on a winner. So it's a people's choice, really!
And the same blog cannot win the award twice!
How can this Blog get in here?
http://bollywoodkibabes.blogspot.com/
I saw it has put up the Paki ranks badge? How can that be allowed?
Hey - scroll up a bit, Reema asked the same question about this blog's rank and why it's there in our directory.
As for the badge, I'm guessing any bollwood site gets a lot of traffic from Pakistan - which is why they've also gone and registered with a Pakistani blog directory.
hi..sm..please tell me hw to increase indirank on my blog......mine is only 40.....
dreaming eyes i will suggest following tips
Dreming eyes currently your alexa rank is 8,432,135 and indi rank is 40
sm cmmnts are really helpful! good ones sm...!
In this process you will also get regualr readers and other bloggers also.
this helps you build alexa rank, google page rank. most imp is i feel the food for blog is
comments and readers so i give importance to this .
once your alexa rank , google rank, increases your indi rank.
just try to get readers regular readers.
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
Why can details of the IndiBlogger of the month be published. I mean, the data basis which the IndiBlogger reached number one. This will give more inspiration to those who are down the line or like me have, RANK - NA
heyy...wats alexa rank.....??????
the Alexa Rank is a ranking system which bases its ranking schema on the level of traffic each website receives from the number of people who visit a website
The traffic rank is based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data
Alexa.com is a subsidiary of Amazon.com
