Dofollow Blogs - Leave Your URL Here

I know what you might be thinking... Kahin sala spam to nahi chhod gaya

When we comment on a blog, the value in the name field gets hyperlinked. By default, this URL is added with a 'nofollow' tag which they say does not pass any link juice. So, to award their commentators with some link juice, many bloggers use some plugins to remove this 'nofollow' tag and thus the comments on their blog become dofollow...

Yes I too agree with Mohan. I also experienced the same. It will be a painful job to identify the legitimate comments from the flood of spam, automatic moderation is almost impossible.

So sad, I started this thread especially for your blog..

Only comments are no follow but links from the guest posts are do follow

@Sujith I am looking forward to doing a guest post for you soon :)

The risk of spam can be decreased with the two most awesome plugins : Akismet and Bad Behavior. You will really notice that no spam comments are coming now ...

my website is do follow website :)   http://softwarebuzzer.com

Use Spam plugins. It will help you.. My Blog is www.ThePankajGupta.Com .  It is dofollow.. CommLuv, Top Commenter Widget, Contests for top commenters.. (Must read the contest atleast)

"external nofollow" is the right choice for comments

suspence is still there..... we need "jasoos vijay"

What does that mean?

Guys you know my mental status! Quit throwing hints come to the point!

remember there is a friend called G**G**? go figure out.

@Addy: Simply put, dofollow comments help your readers increase their pagerank (and search engine ranking). This way, the blog owner gets more comments since the readers are are motivated to comment... Reference reading http://www.semiologic.com/2005/02/05/prepare-for-more-comment-spam-not-less/

@Mohan hehehehehe you won't even take the name! ROFL!

@Gouri Thanks for the heads up!

Wonderful blog you have buddy. A dofollow PR4 blog... Fantastic. Came across it just a few days ago through your thread. In fact, it was your blog and Mohan's blog which made me start this thread to find out more of such blogs...

Hehe... thanks mate! :D Glad to here that my blog helped you to give this great idea! Keep it up mate... waiting to see more such ideas from you :D

That's nice one Websnacker. You can now go on publicizing it through dofollow directories. Here are 2 of them:

http://nicusor.com/do-follow-list/

http://dofollow.info/

Thanks Gouri. I can still find a nofollow attribute in the XML. May be it belongs to one of the widgets but can you cheack and confirm if my blog is indeed Dofollow. Any help will be appreciated.

If you see in your comments section, you will find 2 links for each comment: One for the avatar and another for the name field. 'Avatar' is nofollow and the 'name field' is dofollow.

Thnaks Gauri. So, do I have to change anything to make it Dofollow or leave it the way as it is. Pls do reply.

Your blog is a dofollow blog. But the final effect in your comments section is getting like this:

You are asking search engines not to follow a given link. And then, immediately after that, you are asking them to follow it.

So, to bring in consistency, it's better to make the gravatar link also dofollow.

Hi Gouri... I know its more than 2 months but I have still not been able to change the gravatar link to dofollow. any help on how to do it or should i mail you? thanks

But Disha this thread is for dofollow blogs not for "new bie"..

Your blog is not a dofollow blog.

Dhobi kapde leke bhag gaya kya? Report the matter to Sansani

That's a beautiful dofollow blog, Rajan. I like the neatness you've maintained it with...

Link no longer working.

Naveen, it doesn't become dofollow by itself. You have to make it.

So how do i make it?

Thank you, now that was useful! :)

My pleasure dear!

Thanks, will check it out once it gets a new comment..

NO, its NOT dofollow.

No Himanshu, that doesn't... (We are interacting one on one after a long time )

Sowmya, I don't think we can establish a trend on this. In fact, I have seen few dofollow blogs getting higher PR. I saw:

http://www.petra-weiss.com/ go up from 1 to 3 (still a dofollow blog)

http://chenpn.com/ go up from 3 to 5 (dofollow only in top commentators section)

http://www.kongtechnology.com/ stuck up at 5 (dofollow only in top commentators section)

... & so on.

If properly publicized, dofollow definitely brings in more visitors. But most of the visitors would be interested in using keywords in the comments. Those who don't mind keyword usage in the comments should definitely give it a try. Others can try it provided they have sufficient time for comment moderation (linking to undesirable sites may harm your ranking).

By the way, I see that you are doing extremely well in spiritual blogging. It was nice to see your blogs at a time when I am starting out on this front: Daduram

Comment links are showing up in your source file..

Comment links are NOT showing up in your source file..

Nice blog Raghu, but that's NOT a dofollow blog..

Nice one..

thanks

Nice blog there Raghav!

Thanks Gouri....it feels nice when someone appreciates...

That's right! But I don't see the comment links at all in the source..

I didn't get you !! It is a do-follow blog. I have intense debate installed on my blog. You can check whether it is do-follow or not by  using the firefox add-on "NoDoFollow".

Awaiting your reply.

Anshul, you can see here how the post page of your site looks to the search engine bots:

http://www.webconfs.com/search-engine-spider-simulator.php

It's not showing the comments part at all. Once the link are present, we can determine whether they are dofollow or nofollow.

You can compare it with a single post page of other blog using intense debate.

Thanks for the tool. Do you know what could be the reason behind this and how to fix it?

I am not quite sure as to what's happening. Why not try changing the theme and see what happens..

Hey, Anshul how r u ? Remember I'm from gurutalks. I think plugin like Akismet works fine for spams, I use it. Ya your blog is do-follow blog, that's nice !

Yes Anshul, Sandeep is right. Your blog is a dofollow blog. The link in the name field depends upon the profile the commentor selects.

Check for what?

Its a dofollow blog...

Hi Karthik, the name field in comments is missing.. (may be you deleted it by mistake) And the gravatar section is still nofollow..

Hey Kevin, really a thoughful blog buddy! It feels nice to see fellow bloggers contributing towards the betterment of the society..
