After 25 years as a Corporate Executive, Communicator and Counsellor, I am back to what I have always loved to do - Reading & Writing.  My blog is a true reflection of this passion, and a 'perspective with a difference' of what happens around us.

Hi Rajuda ,

I went through your blog , and the striking factors which one can see immediately are a very defined and legible way of writing. I really like the simplicity and the introduction part , lovely use of words.

Would appreciate if you can review mine too.

Hi Rajuda,

I am happy to read your blog. Nice thinking.

some comments:

1) I think it will be good to add some more posts in the front page. People may not click on the archive always.

2)I like small posts. thumbs up for that.

3)The left side shared buttons doesnt display the text properly. may be problem with my browser.Check your blog in different browsers.

4)If its ok with you, you can write a About me page (and a contact me page if you want).

good luck.. keep blogging..

Hi Vipin

Absolutely a helpful review.  And in no time I did one thing that you suggested - added more posts to the front page.

I am trying to figure out those shared buttons on the left, as well as add an "about me/contact me" page.

For the technically not-so-savvy people like me, making such changes is a humongous taskEmbarassed  But let me try.

Thanks Vipin for taking the time to help me.

Ok. good to know that it helped you.

I think you have to get the shared buttons from the google feedburner account directly. You can also try out some other widgets available online. Use google , you will get 100's of such widgets.

I dont know which blogging paltform you use, but I think adding a page is just like creating a new blog post.

hai Rajuda,

Sorry I could not review your blog yet.  And I appreciatre that you reviewed mine.

What strikes me about yourblog. Its appearance is simple and elegant. The sytle of writing: with little words you can ceate big ideas.   That is great for a writter.  dealing with topical items.

Any way you are writing short posts. I hope that is your sytle.  Sorry I did not look into all .

your news breaking item is good, can keep people on you blog.

Sincerely,

prasanna

Hi,

The best thing about your writing is it tells one 'what to think about' and not 'what to think' ! it is very easy to read and the posts, short and to the point. I would keep it the way it is... thought provoking.

Thanks for the very specific pointers on mine. My blog is a 'work-in-progress'  and I've just begun experimenting, so it helped.

Rajuda,

Been to your blog, read a couple of your posts, I like your style of writing, I've subscribed to your blog.

As for presentation, I found the background very distracting. So is the heavy bright red/blue combination, I had to use my feed reader to read it comfortably, but then again, it was worth the effort. It depends on the majority of the visitors to your blog.

Hi Nick,

Thanks a lot.  I value that suggestion.  Let me try changing the background.

And thanks once again for subscribing to my blog.

You have a nice blog Rajuda. It loads very fast (thanks to the minimalistic theme and less number of widgets). The posts are short and crisp.

However you should consider removing the top navigation bar (the one that is present in blogger blogs by default, which says Share, Report Abuse etc.). That will give your blog a more professional look. You can search Google to see how it is done (just need to add a line of code). In case you want to do this and can't find it in Google, contact me.

Also have a Facebook page for your blog and use Facebook Followers widget in your blog. Facebook with its wide reach will get you more number of followers.

Hope that was helpful !! :)

Hi Anshul

The best suggestion I have had from anyone. Thanks a lot.

I have already removed the navigation bar.  And yes, you are right. It looks much more neat.

I am also figuring out the way to have a Facebook page.  You have been of great help, Anshul. I hope to keep in touch with you, dear friend.

Hi Sanjeetha

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Thanks a lot for those words of appreciation too.

Even you have a great blog.  What attracted me most was the way you write - simple, straight and sincere.  I refer to your posts, 'Happy Birthday', 'Friend's Call' etc.  Touching narration indeed.

And I liked that 'Currently Reading' image at the bottom.  I hope it stays as you continue to read good books.  Perhaps you could add a synopsis, or a link to a good 'book review site'.

Anyway, kudos to an excellent blog, Sanjeetha.  Keep going.

Hi Rajuda,

clean look - simple words - short posts Technically, these are the ones that makes a visitor linger a bit longer to read the posts.Kudos to that !

Reading your short posts were a welcome break. It was akin to "discussing world news over morning cup of coffee in the balcony" with a cousin who has come for a visit. Its a wonderful feeling.

Keep up the good work !
