My own vote, considering the timing of the first award - blogs on politics!
I would say politics as there will be lots of Darama and excitement till election result are declared. And lets see how power of social media and internet is leveraged this time in election.

I'd say politics and current affairs blogs. I haven't visited any of them lately but they must be abuzz because the elections are approaching.
i dont know blogs on literature, historical account, personal diary, art & philosophy fit into which categories. Also what about general blogs, i mean something about everything blogs, how are they classified?
With general elections around, Current affairs cum Politics would definitely be my flavour for this month.

Politics is a good idea considering the impending elections.
I think a post above me talked of 'something about everything' blogs. Why don't we have a category for those blogs? Not all these blogs are purely personal blogs.
