well written one.

Jayendra - Nice writeup! At some points there was a little incoherence between sentences. But I have seen ur latest posts, and there has been a significant improvement. Keep writing! :)

Here's mine. This was a letter I wrote to my four-year-old son. He is a die-hard follower and that was causing him (and hence me) much grief. This was my way to vent. It came straight from the heart but perhaps it was a tad too personal. Sharing it here again.

Tulika -

This is a wonderful letter. Lucky he has u as his mother. I think people did read ur post and loved it, but they might have refrained from posting comments since the letter is very personal and touching.

Keep posting such stuff, if you wish to, and let the younger generation - the generation that will soon become parents - learn from you. And yeah, I too belong to this generation I was referring to.

Thanks Manjulika for the appreciation.. and also for the comments on my blog..I really appreciate it..thanks..

Vee

Harshad,
I was keen on having only one underrated post from Indibloggers because without that restriction it would lead to spamming eventually with bunch of links from everyone and no proper response to those who would post only one link. And that is one thing we don't want on our forums.

That said, your post is again very informative one. Helps a lot of people. :)

Harshad
from Pune |

Sorry..won't happen again..

Vee
from Minneapolis |

harshad, you don't have to be sorry. i have been spending a lot of time on your blog and i feel almost every post of yours deserved greater attention. you provide some of the most useful tips and that too in a simple way which anyone can understand and apply without any struggle.

Way to go man!!

Well, if you want to know what's the most underrated post so far, I would honestly say  the blog in itself. My readership is quite limited, hardly 3 or four members. I'm not sure, what is that Im missing, and hence joined this forum for some advice.

Anyways, to justify your question with a precise answer, here is my most underrated blog post.

A story which I wrote.....don't understand what went wrong but was not much liked

Vee
from Minneapolis |

Nilesh,

That's a great story. Well written and definitely underrated.

Can I add a suggestion here? Try putting some picture that goes along with posts like these. A picture definitely grabs reader's attention. I personally have seen the difference in the way readers respond to the post with and without pictures. You will find some really relevant ones on Deviantart.com or you can click your own pics and post them.

that's one very good suggestion...Yes, even a friend of mine keeps on suggesting that, but am bit lazy...Will need to improve on that.

Thanks a lot!!

Vee

you are welcome Nilesh!

This travelogue was posted in the beginning of my blogging hence has not attracted desired visitors. This has fetched me an entry in to 'Limca book of records' in 2009.

Thats a wonderful feat, visiting all the places u have lived in over a span of 50 plus years. Wow! You must have had an exciting time going through that experience, making memories a reality again. Wow!

Hey I found a lot of amazing posts and blogs to read through this thread and to continue the tradition here is the link of my poem which I thought covered the most widely read emotion-love (read passion!) but did not get as much hits as I'd expected.

A Dark Night

No more underrated blog posts?

RioZee
from Out of this yEt in this World |

are you tired vee, you will keep on getting them till infinity I think, as new bloogers keep growing at a great pace.

just remove the barrier of single post and you will be closing down the thread.

Vee
from Minneapolis |

May be you are true. I think I should remove that single post barrier. But then, I am worried that this thread will be full of links but no feedback from the readers on those posts.

Okay, let us invite the second most underrated posts from all the Indibloggers.

Harshad
from Pune |

@ Pramod I also believe in spirits and ghosts, If God exists so do Ghosts. I have never encountered one..though but If the spirits can be called and if reincarnation also exists then how will the spirit communicate when requested if they have already enter a body as humans..Confused...Thanks for the article..

@Vee The world is full of underrated posts don't worry...And I really admire your ability to look into every posts which is posted here..and patiently go though them maan that's a great service you are giving to fellow bloggers cheers..

RioZee
from Out of this yEt in this World |

harshad, first of all, thanks a lot for visiting my home,(blog).  there is a time lapse in getting a body. sometimes it takes enormous time too. but when they get a body, it can not be called up.

I heard Lord buddha to have said he was an elephant in previous life, running for life in a jungle fire. suddenly a rabbit too running came under its feet. rabbit stopped feeling safety under the feet. the elephant couldn't put the feet down, lest the rabbit would be killed. both were burnt to death.

you are perfectly right on the point of thread of vee. I sensed it the very first day.

I feel many a times its difficult to rate a post as underrated.. some like me have had a tough time to choose one that i could post here..

Vee
from Minneapolis |

Hemal,

Well this happens when your favorite posts have received the appreciation you expected.  That's definitely a confidence booster to blog more often.
