Should dead Topics be removed from IndiBlogger forum?

Today I had an unexpected confrontation with one of our dear members in IndiBlogger over people replying on dead Topics. Now I want to ask all the IndiBlogger community for valuable opiniions if...

1. It would be a good idea to drop those dead topics or should the post have any expiry period?

2. What should be termed as dead topic ?

3. Should some one reply on dead topic or not ?

4. Should dead blogs also be removed from the directory ?

I am sure each one would have an interesting opinion..what say Indis ?

I am really not in favour of deletion of information whats your say?

I think moderators should remove threads that have nothing to do with Indiblogger or blogging or could be of any help to any new bloggers.

I don't think threads should be removed if they could still be helpful to new members no matter how old it may be.

Threads that have nothing to do with Indiblogger and blogging are in a seperate section, off topic...

Nowadays threads started even a year and half ago are making a reappearance here, so what is a dead thread!!
