Just pour ur heart into what ever you write, people will certainly come to read you bcoz its only Originiality and the Uniqueness which counts in the end.....

Well Said Irfanji! Adding to this, if you pour your heart, it will reflect in every word you write and touch the heart of readers.......and they will be fan!

Arti

So true, written by heart... Loved by people...
Also then the posts will be simple and easy to read...

Don't copy, especially if you are a respectable member of Indiblogger family; if you can't write, why blog?

Arti
from Mumbai |

Good point, are you pointing towards someone??

Gouri
from Hyderabad |

@Arti: You got it right. But I am still in a dilemma. Naming this guy may turn the whole forum into a state of shock. Even I used to respect him till the other day when I noticed that one of my posts was copy pasted without credit (with 2-3 sentences modified). I am so shocked that I feel embarrassed to even contact him.

How could a person of that stature do that! Looks like he has a whole blog (different from his main blog) dedidated to the plagiarized posts from various sources.

If it was somebody else, probably I could have let it go without a second thought. But when it is somebody masking as the messiah of the indiblogger community (hey, it's not Renie :)) can't let him go like that.. Looks like, will have to proceed with the legal action. What say?

Rohan
from Mumbai |

Sounds sensational ! Name please !

This plagiarism is really getting on my nerve lately . More and more people are submitting scrapped and plagiarized articles as guest post to my site and it clogs the editorial queue like anything !

Anyway , that is not the point , we all hate copycats , fair enough , its a type of fraud .....so , name please ?

Arti
from Mumbai |

Really sensational as Rohan pointed out!!
Send an Indimail maybe, asking for reasons... But you must take some action, I guess...

Mohini Puranik
from Dhule |

This is really sad, I can't believe, but can't we take their name? I think we should! and ya! first report about that person. Gouri! My opinion is you should take the name, let everybody know and of course, this should be stopped.

Why should we hesitate to proceed with legal action?

Gouri

Okay if you guys insist, here's the thread: http://www.indiblogger.in/forum/topic.php?id=8398

Don't be offensive on your blog, and if not posting original content, then give proper attribution and/or take the respective person's permission; accept constructive criticism, share your blog with others via Blog Sharing platforms and support other bloggers if you genuinely find their content interesting. That's the best one can do. If it has to happen, you'll gain your blog will gain popularity.

Thanks, Aman.

The simplest tip is to keep writing. Everything else will follow by its own.

Arti

Supplement the article with some pictures if there is scope...

Madhumathi

Ur true arti :) adding pics makes the post intresting :)

abhin@v

yes, adding images can also give you good number of views from image search.

Arti
from Mumbai |

Yes abhi, you are right! I do get a lot of traffic from Google Image search.
I would also like to add that alt tag is very helpful in that.

Mohini Puranik

Great tips, thanks a lot friends.

Another from me, Change default favicon.

Now it's easiest for blogger -

make your favicon in .ico, download -> go to design -> top left Edit favicon -> upload .ico file.....-> done!

But this thing is not appearing for my hindi blog........:(. Successfully changed for the English one.
