@Desperado,
checked out your canine's blog. It is great - with a simple layout. some suggestions though - Watch out for spelling mistakes, and also add some more widgets to the sidebar. It is very plain at the moment.
Hello everyone,

Hey Revathi, post this under a new forum topic. This is the blog review page of Desparado.
Thank you Kadambari & Hashir! Your reviews have been of grave importance...I'd like to seek more of your help regarding this widget thing...which wisgets do you think I must go for? I understand it depends on personal choices but as a reader which widgets would be more eye friendly and useful?
Thanks yet again for your kindly respone & review!
Desperado..As far as widgets go I think the following help a lot.
1.Blogroll - This gives your readers a chance to see other blogs and you are actually giving other bloggers a platform to publicize their blogs. Win Win for all :)
2. Feed Subscriber: This widget is a must. This way your readers can be updated with your site feed and don;t have to frequently check back to see if you have come up with something new. Moreover the search engines also pick up your feed.
3. Search within your site: Visitors can search posts specific to their requirement.
4. Install some code like google analytics which will give you insight into your readers
5. Labels/Tag Clouds
6. Archives
7. About you - This really helps a reader connect with you.
I have installed most of these widgets in my blog http://lafemmereva.blogspot.com so if you wanna take a peek go ahead. Feel free to comment on any of the posts! I will be honored.
Thanks! Hope this helped!
As your subscriber base increases you may want to add some more widgets like
1. Recent Comments
2. Recent Posts
3. Visitor Info
4. Your favorite posts which will give the readers a chance to appreciate your style of writing.
Thanks Revathi:)
Your reply was very well defined and self explanatory...Thanks for the efforts!
Just one more question...I hope I ain't bugging you:)
