Hello Friends,

Add here your digg profile url for sharing it with the Indiblogger community to build another friend group at Digg which will probably be helpful in getting more diggs for your posts.

Follow me on digg and I will return the favour by following you back.. Here is my profile URL

UPDATES:

Ok guys and gals... I have come up with an idea of sharing and promoting each other's posts on digg. The idea is simple:

Visit your followers page, Go to submissions and Digg their stories.

Once you have digg the stories of your friends, they will get notification from digg and in return, your followers will digg your stories also. This will really help us all if we do it FAIRLY.

Congratulatioons, Keshav. The anonymous Indiblogger moderator seems to hold no grudges against Digg. He/she deleted my similar thread for serious Twitter talking & effective cross-promoting for improved social media marketing and monetization.

My Digg a/c username is punditcomment

I look forward to seeing you on digg.

I think we should all follow each other on digg. It is very helpful in increasing traffic.

Mine is http://digg.com/adityanayak. Lets use digg to get more traffic! I propose we set up a sharing network too. Where everyone shares everyone elses content on the social web, what say?

@all

Followed everyone who added me as friend at Digg. Thank you all who joined the discussion and shared their profile URLs. I hope this dicsussion will go a long way and we will get some good friends at Digg.

@Aditya

Totally agree with you. There should a sharing platform too. I can't see any share button in Digg to share your diggs.

What I meant was a group of people who digg, stumble like each others content everytime. Ping me if that interests you

abhin@v

@aditya  I think thats a good idea. count me in.

Followed back...

But I think only following each other will not give any benefit bcz digg has no option to share latest diggs to followers or friends.

We need to find a way to help each others gettings diggs. That way we can generate a reasonable traffic from digg (helping each other FAIRLY)..

Any Suggestions??

I am in!

But I dont get any traffic from digg and am clueless as to how it generates traffic for people. I like stumbleupon better as it gives some hits to me sometimes but digg has never worked for me Innocent

abhin@v
from mumbai |

yes, stumbleupon works but it generates low quality traffic. The average time spent on my site from stumbleupon visitors is very less and they hardly leave a comment.

@arti . are you using the mobile version? because when I do, it posts my replies twice, no idea why.

Arti
from Mumbai |

@abhi Yes I was using the mobile version. I guess its network problem. Sometimes the connection gets lost and when you refresh the page, the reply gets posted twice. Happen only sometimes though..

abhin@v
from mumbai |

yes, maybe a network problem.

@Arti

To get traffic from digg, you need to get a few diggs for your article. For that particular reason I have started this thread so that we all can develop a community at digg where we can help each other to promote their content. Once you get 20-30 diggs for your article you can easily land on the front page of digg and your trafic will go viral.

@ Abhi

I agree with you. Stumbleupon traffic is useless as it is neither targted not does it help in limiting bounce rate and average page view time.

Arti

Ok, I do get it now Keshav and abhi.Thanks for the explanation :) I have also dugg some posts of people here :)

I followed everyone listed above except for punditcomment and shivamtiwari because digg said it couldn't find you.

Here is my digg - http://digg.com/WhiteBhabi

When you want to see/promote posts by those you are following on Digg, click on the number of ppl you are following on your profile, their profiles will be listed and you can click them and randomly digg their content.

As for stumbleupon, they may not stay long on your site when they visit but it will drive up your pay per view ratio which means you can make more money by having more visitors so it's not a total loss. We should all share our stumbleupon accounts too. The more our names are out there, the more they are worth for things like Adsense.

Also, blogger has gadgets you can add which will display social networking/bookmarking share buttons on every post. Those are probably the easiest way for us all to Digg each other and stumble, etc. They are better than the Digg buttons.
