MOZ Rank and Blog Grade?

Let me add one more thing from my side - GPR : 2

there is nothing that is authentic as far as website grading tools are concerned, every tool will give you slight different views. Moz rank is taken directly from SEOMoz and hence it may be accurrate as PR is taken from google.

You are right Hemal. There will be small differences in the data provided by these different grading sites..

By the way is 3.3 good moz rank.

looks good , blog grade 91 is impressive .

Checked out mine...

Website Grade:  97

Moz Rank:  3.6

Alexa Traffic Rank:  195,333

Blog Grade:  92

Google Indexed Pages:  337

Linking Domains: 67

Great report card!! You have done exceptionally well in all the subjects

impressive alexa and website rank:)

Great improvement... The google indexed pages has gone up significantly:)

Guess, I really need to work on the linking domains.. anyways, Thank you abhi, ds :)

@abhi Felt like I was back in school :P Thanks

hi

This is my stat,

My google p/r they gave n/a,
Google p/r for fun 2,
I don't know what it means , for fun they could hve given 10

+1 P ji...

hehe :P

@ Pramodji:-)
We have same moz rank.

Seo, me! Thats a joke abhi:) I am zero at seo, I have no knowledge what it means or how how you go about achieving it... even though its been almost 2 years blogging!!

you already have a great blog arti.  No need to worry about seo and things like that  :)

Abhi, Is moz rank lower the better or the other way around?

its just like google pr, on a scale of 1 to 10 .  It can be improved by getting links from popular domains.

Okies abhi:)
What is considered an ok moz rank?

seomoz says that the moz rank of an " average" website on the net is 3 . If you ask me, i would say 3 is great.

Thanks abhi, makes me very happy to know that I am above average :P

my blog grade is now 94 and moz rank 3.8. :)

Thats great improvement Abhi in a span of few weeks!
Congrats:)

Thats a very high leap esp the MOZ rank! Superbb!!!

BTW, do you have any idea how often is MOZ rank updated?

thanks ds and arti. Do check yours too, they must have improved as well  :)

I think moz rank is updated roughly once a month or maybe more than that. Imagine the time required to crawl the entire web and rate billions of pages.

Will check and post abhi...

Ya, may be coz i have heard moz ranks are updated more often than the GPR's and hence are more sought after to gauge the performance of our sites. Let me check mine too...

Nice stats, the pages indexed in google are a good number!

Good stats Vyankatesh:)

Arey, no Mohini... Let me check it out for you dear :)

WOW!!

Very good sharing your stats here, really appreciated :)

Strive to take it higher DS, I am sure your blog has great potential to reach heights

Good luck :)

Nice statistics,DS. Like arti said, it will definitely reach greater heights !

Thanks Arti and Abhi :)

Why is my traffic rank so low? Also the blog grade :-(

Traffic rank will improve very much with time. One simple funda to improve it is-just keep posting regularly. It will improve the blog grade as well.

Thanks Abhi for the tips...
I posted 2-3 posts during the world cup but since then have been lacking in motivation!!
Will start afresh soon.

2-3 posts a day!

Yes, that was during the world cup, wasnt it? really nice. That must have given you great traffic. You should start again, with the India- england clash :)

Yup the high profile clash is around the corner, lets see if I get the time to post on the series.
Thanks for the motivation Abhi:)

Completely second abh! I have not been able to follow the sport as much as I'd love to for some time now :( Start afresh and I shall follow it thro your blog

ooops! *abh=abhi

Thanks Arti:)
Will try my best to churn a few posts on the tour:)

Am waiting...

Am busy :-(
Trying my best to write an article a week...

Thank you Sumit :) I really dont think they are pathetic, Keep up the positive spirit.. certainly will improve over time! Best wishes

I am with you Sumit... We will scale newer heights with time:)

not bad at all. nothing is pathetic man other than your thinking :). ofcource it will improve.

one more thing Summit, Just by hoping it wont imporve. you have to act. try googleing for " tips to improve alexa ranking" .  u might see my article on first page.

other than that, to improve linking domain, spend sometime commenting on others blog which gives you a do follow link. your pages are not indexed . Did you configured webmasters account and submmit a sitemap to google ? thats the best way to get your link indexed.

I have not a clue what Seo means!! And when I read about it, most of the stuff sails over my head...
My blog has about 110 posts. And hey Thanks for linking to my blog, by the way tell me where, I would love to read that post:)

@arti u r using blogspot , there is lot of scope of optimzing your posts for Serach engines, there is nothing wrong is optmizing you post, you got a good thing so you gotta so them to world that hey come to my blog i got what you are looking for. but for that you have to tell the search engines what you got. serach engines are not messenger of GOD who knows everything abuot all blogs but a human written code which works on algorithm.

i can help in that but would be hard for blogger. for blogger it will require HTML and I m 0 in html :(.

Thank you very much subhashchy for the help.. I will try reading more into all this and try to understand it slowly... Thanks anyways :)

yup. slow and study wins the race . all the best.

ab ye quote copied hi wapas mat bolna copycat

:)

Try out sometime later... you should get it then...

You get error message sometimes but try again, you will get the results:)

Did you try Nitin!?!

Very high number of Indexed pages there! Since how long have you been blogging?

Just 6 months!

cool!

Thats great!

Nice.

thats great umeshji :)

Very good Moz Rank Umesh ji:)

Yup great stats Umesh:)

Most Indiranks have fallen due to incorporation of the Moz ranks!!! Tips needed to improve it!!

+1 DS.

Forgot to mention... Indirank has gone UP to 46, but i added couple of posts last month after disappearing for 2 months. Dunno what impacted the scores.

As mentioned in this thread average moz rank is about 3...
So your ranks seem good enough!!!
Dont know much though.

3.63 seems a nice Moz rank.

Getting a Gpr is a step in the right direction too:)

Plus 1 Arti!

all the best Rumbaho, keep blogging.

It happens sometimes Rumbaho...
Try 2-3 times, it will give you the stats.

yep, I tried...  here are my blog stats...rumbaho.com ranks 482,728  out of 3,805,766 websites reviewed so farwebsite grade of 87/100

Mindblasting traffic rank of 4,064,919 - very disappointing

Rumbaho, the Moz rank seems good to me!
But I aint an expert.

Yes the moz seems fine... Alexa is very high though!

Again great Moz rank!
Keep blogging:)

Good stats:)

By Traffic rank, you mean alexa? Good going, try improvising in the other areas too :)
