Jacob Hills is yet another fantastic book from Ismita’s pen; having read her first book, ‘Love on the Rocks’, I had a lot of expectation on this and she in fact wrote a wonderful book, which dealt with grave social issues and murder mystery. A fresh read this is!

A taut, gritty & gripping thriller. Highly Recommended

On the whole, this is an short enjoyable read. Read it for it's alternating person narrative style, the army related surrounding and the character building.

Book Review- Jacob Hills by Ismita Tandon Dhankher

Jacob Hills is a thriller novel with a unique style of narration. The story revolves around George Chandy couple. It is beautifully penned to the delight of readers. Each section has a different narrator from the story, so by the time you reach the last chapter you would have seen the story from all possible perspectives . This gives the book a unique appeal.

The book is a very good read as it is written. It could have been written far better and been made memorable but in that, alas, the author has not succeeded.

An interesting read with varied characters and interesting plot. Read it if you don’t mind your suspense/mystery books sidetracked with multihued diverse plot elements.

A must read for a superb plot and a riveting suspense that will keep you on edge.
