On May 9th,2018, Walmart wrapped up it’s deal with Flipkart for $16 billion, raising Flipkart’s valuation to $ 20 billion. Through this, ‘world’s biggest e-commerce deal’, Walmart has gained ownership of around 77% of the Bengaluru-based company
