Will my Indivine posts get deleted?
I got a new custom domain for my blog. I cannot change my URL in indiblogger. The only way I can put my new blog url in Indivine is by adding it as a new blog. If I add my new URL as a new blog and if I delete my old blog in Indivine, will my Indivine posts get deleted?
I am not sure and I am confused too. That's why I have added the custom URL as new blog and let the old blog remain here. Not sure whether am I allowed to do so, but since I did not get any clarity, I was left with no option.
Anyway, tagged the Admin so that they can comment on this.
When you moved to custom domain, your old blog url redirects to your new url rite? Mine doesnt. I have two urls for the same blog now. I got the domain from blogger for 10$. The DNS is all in place but still it doest redirect. Should I do something else for the redirect to take place?
No your Indivine posts won't get deleted.
I had a blog that I deleted, and it's posts are still on indivine. Unfortunately for me I deleted the blog first, so my profile got deleted, because you need to have a blog to have a profile. So, don't delete your blog first, let the new domain get approved, then only delete the old blog. You can use redirect to have those old URL's directed to newer ones, so no need to submit them again.
Just in case the admin need know, deleted profiles are still working on mobile version of Indiblogger, better take care of it. Also, do any Windows phone users have problem with the mobile version, because I am asked for password every time for every link I click while browsing in Internet Explorer, and not if I use other browsers such as Opera.

I was on wordpress, never really used blogger.
Don't delete your old blog or add the new one. Simply contact the inditeam using this link Contact us / get support saying that you would like your blog URL to be updated to the new one. I had sent a similar request after moving to a custom domain. All my IndiVine entries URL's have been updated.
