Backup of wordpress blog

If you search around, you will find lots of Wordpress backup plugins lik - BackWPup ( can backup files and databse to cloudservers like amazon,dropbox, your FTP or email) ,WP-DB-Backup ( can backup the databse and Emil you if needed).

If you have some money to spend then the perfect solution is VaultPress ( a product from wordpress itself), they will regualrly syn your files and database, so you never loose anything.

Thanks a lot for talking about in the forum. I had wanted to do it but somehow just couldn't find time to do it. Reading about it made me put it high on my blog work.

I tried myEASYBackup but couldn't get it working as my blog is a subdirectory.

Finally I used BackWPup plugin video tutorial here   http://webwrights.com/blog/2011/05/backwpup-tutorial/ and got a backup file generated.

My friend uses paid Buddy Backup.

My wordpress do not seem to have the PLUG-IN menu option showing up........not sure if this is some version problem.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  Thanks.
