Music Lovers.... NEED HELP!!!
Okay, This is for my next post. So, I seriously need your help.
Now, since you are here, there are two possibilties.
- You have heard Rebecca Black.
- You have not heard Rebecca Black.
Now, I need your help in this.
1. If you have heard Rebecca Black, Good! Now, Either you hate her or love her. Chances are you hate her. Now, I want you to tell me what exactly you hate or dislike about her? Like is it the lyrics, or the video, or her voice, or just simply her face? Just let me know your views.
2. If you haven't yet heard her, and if you are quite free, I have a task for you.
Step 1: Listen to all of her songs.
i) Friday
ii) My Moment
iii) Person Of Interest
iv) Sing It
Step 2: Either you loved her, or just simply hated her. Now, I want you to tell me what exactly you didn't liked about her? Like is it the lyrics, or the video, or her voice, or just simply her face? Just let me know your views.
Thank you guys in advance!
Reason: Added links to songs.
I don't like Rebecca Black, because of the tonality of her voice, too shrill and immature for my taste. Also the voice lacks a depth and there's no reverb in the voice either. The music is okay, nothing extraordinary aboutl. Her face is fine!
Thanks!
exactly i mean, the lyrics are too stupid, the voice is soo shrill, the songs sound like written by 10 year old.
Thanks!
I heard friday long back when it became a hit overnight. The video showed a 12 yr guy driving and I felt sent a wrong message to the kids. Song was pathetic, the kid just got whirled up by market manipulators in US, like they did for so many other.
That would be so nice.
Umm.. Just for your information. Friday, the song, she might sound a bit shirll in that, because of the use of software called "auto-tune", which make her sound a bit robotic (her producer forced her to use it, and then she left the producer). But do listen to other three and let me know.
Small? As in? Age?
Yeah, she's 14 now.
I just have a doubt here. I have never heard her, but seems that no one likes her. How is she so popular then?
She is regarded as the "worst singer ever". The song friday, got over 167 million views. But that video was removed, only to be re-uploaded later.
Look at the number of dislikes in any of her video.
What do you think about her?
I will listen to her tonight. But, the question is if she is worst or bad, why do people listen to her and why is she so popular. There are so many bad singers out here
I actually don't think she is a bad singer at all! She is just an improving singer, with every song, she is improving! And I like her!
To tell you the whole story in short, she (actually her mom) paid $4000, to make a song and a video. They did this just for some experience, and never expected this to be this big. In it's first month, they had got just about 4000 views on Youtube. Then this comedian, Michael Nelson, a comedian, posted on twitter this song, and captioned it as "Worst song ever?". (emphasis on question mark). People then under his influence, started going to her page, and started disliking the video. Many were like, Hey, want to hear the worst song that everyone is disliking? Most of them never ever listened to it, but just disliked it, without even listenging. Situation got worse, she was builled at school, got hate comments and mails. But she was strong enough and determined enough, to not to stop her singing, even after all this. She came up with her new songs. But people are just blindly following the trend to dislike her. People write such hateful things on her comments. When I listened to her, I genuinly thought, she didn't deserved this much hatred, and so I'm gonna write a post on this.
Now I get it, thanks for the info. And it seems that she is a small girl (forgive me for the ignorance) and too much, if it is true.
I am certainly going to listen to her and will give you my honest feedback as a musician
Finally, I am done with my post! Do have a look at it, and let me know what you think about it.
Thank you guys for your support!
