Is it a right decision to give taxi pass only for Marathi people?
or is it just an other political stunt?

I think the Maharashtra govt said that knowing Marathi is one of the criteria to get taxi permit. I think there is nothing wrong in expecting a taxi driver in Maharashtra to know Marathi. It makes sense.
