In my journey (so far atleast) through the blogospher,I've been recommended different blogging platforms,like blogger,tumblr and wordpress.I've used blogger and wordpress,so I have my own experience to share.But let me hear it from the more experienced (and newbies like me),what do you have to say?Which platform is best,and based on what?Please do reply,cus for all you know,many blogs remain unnoticed because of the wrong platform :)

nice thread! I wud like to know too. I have 3 blogs and use blogger. It's good but i see wordpress has beautiful templates.

Wordpress looks extremely beautiful!!!!!!But its formatting is below par....blogger has the potential to look extremely good,but you need to know coding...which is not something every blogger will know.I know nothing about tumblr though :)

I have been on blogger for almost two years now and find it very smooth to operate... Never a fuss but then its a very personal thing.

As a free platform, I recommend blogger. Wordpress is the best for self hosted blogs. When we compare self hosted vs free platform Self hosted blogs always win due to multiple reasons.

I am on Tumblr. Didn't care to register it with IndiBlogger. It's where I share some tid-bits of my life, that are too short for my official blog or too long for twitter. Smile

I really hate Tumblr! :( Blospot is my favorite but Own-Hosted Wordpress is most flexible....
