Hey Ahimaaz, thanks for those words. They mean a lot to me, am disappointed but not that much... Its crawlers problem actually, I did not post for 14 days or so when the Real Beauty contest was on and the crawler must have crawled sometime at the end of those 14 days... So it must have deduced that I dont update my blog!!!

Binitha the Indirank is based on your alexa rank, your Gpr, your frequency of posting etc... Though the exact algorithm is not known.

I dunno what happened .. i was blogging with wordpress a few months back(thats time my GPR was 2, but then when i migrated all my posts to the self hosted domain .. and connected the feed to indi... my GPR went down to 0. and till now nothing .. :-(

Here is something that you can do. On each of your posts at worpress, insert a link to the corresponding post on the new domain. Some link juice can be passed in that way.

@Ranjith: Well.. i tried doing that with some of my posts...but then somewhere i heard that the search engines hates duplicate content.. so i dumped all the posts in my previous wp account... and am back to the square one again...

@ Sauvik When you link posts on your old blog to the new one, you should remove the entire content from the old blog and just keep the link. Your blog posts will be pdresent only on the new one. So, it is definitely not duplicate content.

GPR is Google page Rank .. and i dont know about the new system but previsouly it used to be considered.. and moreover a higher GPR enahnces ur chances of more visibility in the search engines...

increasing GPRi is a time taking task. needs loads of patience. Keep blogging, improve ur site's internal linking and submit ur blog to the google, msn and yahoo directories.. i guess thats all u can do. and yes... last but not the least - dont loose heart :-) 

Sauvik is right, it takes time... If you blog good content then you will get a nice GPR soon.

@Sauvik: how should one submit to these directories? and how should we improve our internal linking sites?

Search for directories in google and submit your blog...

And Sanjeetha internal linking means you can link your older posts in your latest posts if they are related... This gives them more visibility and is called internal linking...
