Announcing the all new IndiVine 2.0!
It's finally here - thanks to everyone's ideas, inputs and suggestions here, we're super happy to bring you the new IndiVine! Freak out and fill up the categories with your blog posts - and vote away! 
As always, you guys will be instrumental in IndiVine's development, and the next few days are crucial while the system stabilizes. Do send in any bugs or feedback you have so we can track everything on this topic.
A special thanks to Vipul Grover and the gang who pushed us to do this. Personally, I think it's something IndiBlogger badly needed - a fact I never would have realized if not for the forum!

Of the 67 posts on my blog, now 43 are on the IndiVine
But there are some important sub categories missing - like
- Books under Lifestyle,
- Other Issues under Nation and Politics,
- International Relations under Nation and Politics
Overall, the new IndiVine is really cool.. just loved it

I have one doubt renie....
If i promote a post... The post gets two points..... But still some post have 7 and 5 points.. how is that possible? http://ballat.blogspot.com
From the FAQ's:
I voted once, but the count increased by 2 points. Is that a bug? No, that's a feature of IndiVine. The IndiVine voting system is integrated with IndiRank, where a vote for a higher ranking blog gets more weightage. Let's take for example the blog gujiligalaba.blogspot.com having an IndiRank of 55. Every vote for posts from this blog will have a value of (1 + .55 = 1.55). Votes are rounded off for display. All fresh entries on IndiVine start at 0 votes, regardless of the IndiRank.
So if higher ranking blogs get more weightage..what about lower ranking ones... even thought they have good contents due to less weightage they might get unnoticed right??
correct me if I am wrong... just curious to know more about that point system...

Hey Renie.. isn't the rounding off system just too wide.. By just being a rank here and there(IndiRank 49, say), u loose a cmplete vote!
Hey dude, the rounding off is done only for display on the screen... the system does not round off anything and all values are maintained as is, and it is the precise values which are used to set the order of posts on IndiVine...
Ohk got it.. mayb u shud clarify tht in faq's 2 prevnt any othr ignornt prsn like me frm bothring u again on tht account :)

I have been trying almost a day long to submit my post in the indivine and always i get an error while posting.
Is it a problem which i am facing alone or is it a common problem. If its a common problem. please report here.

Shilpa...I think it might be unique to you.Because I could post 28 articles within half an hour...Its very fast indeed....
