I'm at 66 now, but it was an increase from 49..

April 2014 was a long time...but it was 75...unlike now where the absence of Alexa for the past two times seems to have brought it down...sometimes there is no alexa, sometimes no external juice and at other the moz disappears...i've not had a consistent rating experience for a while

Started off with 77 :)

Increased to 87 from 85

Increased from 71 to 78.

Looks like IB corrected the rank manually. 

Got Indirank 65. Started blogging on 10th April & posted one pic everyday. 

That's a good first rank and I think it will improve a lot if you will keep posting daily.

But yes, it might help indirectly if you share the posts on IndiVine / social networking sites and people visit them - which improves Alexa.

Even though I posted every day in April, my rank rose from 82 to just 83! And that's when I hardly published anything in March. #confused

Don't bother about the logistics, ranks correct itself with time, just keep blogging. One post everyday is awesome!

i think there are other factors too that decides the rank...moz rank, some juice passing ( though i dunno what it is ) and how much visitors you get daily too

If you publish one blog post per week, then you will get 100/100 in posting frequency and last updated. APosting more that this won't improve your rank.

Nandini, my readership was three times in the month of April because I participated in the A to Z challenege. I think the ranks are decided on the basis of a couple of weeks or something. Anyway, 83 is awesome. I wish I could just stick to this!

Ranjith, only one post a week? But readership, juice passing(??) etc etc will change with frequent posting, no? Anyway, these ranks are just numbers. As long as they are not in 60's I'm fine

There is no fun in banging one's own head  I'll get headache. LOOP begin. Then I'll apply zandu balm. I get irritated because of the greasiness. I wash my face. The cold water will increase my headache even further. LOOP end.

Did anyone realize that the guy in all the three head banging smileys is banging his head at exactly the same time. Ranjith, is there some synchronous function attached to all gif images posted on a page? Let me try a fourth one too.

Nandini, the smiley is the same, but they have been pasted as four different gif's and not a single gif.

I think the same gif posted multiple times on a single page would be played in sync to reduce computational load. If they are played in sync, the frame needs to be rendered for only one gif and the same can be copied to the other gifs. 

AFAIK, this has to do with loading the resource. Since it's a GIF, it'll work the way it was designed. Since loading the page is taking place for all the resources at once, the smileys are getting triggered at the same time, thus, resulting in a synchronised motion in all the instances of that image. Additionally, since the image that is being used is coming from the same source, and as all other stuff, that is fetched in the temp folder before displaying to you on your browser, the browser is using the same single source file downloaded on your system (to load all instances).

well...dont understand so much technical things about .gifs... but always saw them behave/display similarly when posted in same page regardless of diff times
