The stories are good and short. Keep it that way. I feel, that email widget needs to have a title to tell readers what will happen if they submit their email there. I also think you may want to remove the lables in the footer, there are so many and they are taking up a lot of space. Try to design a logo and put it up on the top or in the sidebar, to increase reader recollection. Also, give credit to the original source from where images were sourced (if they were not created by you). Nice and simple blog with good stories - I liked it :)
