 No, they won't take that long (2017). Usually the results come out in 3-4 months at the most. But there have been a few contests in the recent times, when the results got declared within weeks. 

No, not really. Indiranks or Indivine votes or no. of comments etc, they don't really affect a particular post's chances of winning a contest. There have been quite a few instances when newbies with moderate rank/rating or with hardly any comment or votes aced the contests. However probably in case of a tie, the judges take the ranks and votes into consideration (I'm not sure about it though, just taking a wild guess )

The prize is purely based on the quality of the post submitted. Absolutely doesnt matter what rank your blog has or its popularity.

Sorry to say , but Amit's wild guess is completely wrong. No judge takes votes/ranks to consideration. I have got 0 votes before and still got into top 10/20 etc... So chill :)

Results take 3-4 months so u gotta be patient here .

Nothing can be said. Once I received it within a week and in some other contest it took nearly 2 months... for some the wait was even longer. It depends on the sponsors.
