Please review this blog about a tier-2 town

Eventhough I'm passionate about a wide range of subjects, I've started blogging about my home town.  Main reason is my city madurai's latest happenings were not easily available on the net.  Besides many locals working abroad or in metros were fond of their childhood & wanting to know about the developments back home.

Please review the site & provide tips, suggestions on how to improve my blog.  What type of news updates should be there more often etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hey,

I think the topic you have picked is nice and different. I am a little apprehensive if you will get a lot of audience. You will have to work harder for marketing :)

I read the post... and the one about helmet was nice. You know, that happens everywhere. I thought the font was a little small. Do you think so too? What does namma mejura mean?

I like the fact that content is on left and everything else is on right. It makes it easy for me to concentrate just on the content. Good work dude. Keep it up.

Suggestion: You know, you should support it with pics. I would definitely want pics with posts.

Thanks K****ij for directing me to font size. It does help having it slightly bigger.

Namma means 'our' in Tamil (& also in Kannada - bangaluru's upcoming metro rail is called namma metro) and mejura is an anglicized version of Madurai. ('Madura Coats' is pronounced 'mejura coats' here).  So it's simply 'our madurai' :)

It now occurs to me that my blog name is not very clear.  May be I should add this definition.

I've reminded myself once again to add pics to all posts.  Of late, I'm using pics but sometimes went ahead & post without pictures.

Thanks for the valuable suggestions.  I like the narrative style of dusht-ka-drishti blog, the ambulance turbulance doesn't sound like fiction!

Cheers!  (looking for more reviews!!)
