Started blogging at the age of 16. Seems like a usual age to blog, but before I began, I really didn't have a clue about the existence of the blogosphere. It took me by surprise, really, the whole concept of being able to share ideas and thoughts with the rest of the internet community.

My blog, titled RiBHUS is named after the sons of Brahma. Mythology aside, the meaning was what attracted me (i.e. artistic, and prudent). The blog contains my views and artistic expositions in the form of poetry and short stories (though the short stories are quite rare).

Coming to terms with the way I saw things and the how it could be understood by others, when put into words fascinated me. This led me to writing profusely for the first few years. Now my methods have changed a bit, thus giving rise to a new brand of writing that may be called an innuendo of sorts.

I've am addicted to travelling and discovering the beautiful country that India is...am just amazed at the various facets of the country, the people, the culture, the food!!!...so thought I'd share some of my stories to all the various places I've been to..

Me being an architect, I always carry a sketchbook during all my travels to sketch and also to record interesting things...since my blog is the digital version of my sketchbook I thought I'll call it 'an architect's sketchbook'.

Sujith, wow u carry a sketchbook along with u! I remember, my drawing teacher in school had said once that always carry a little drawing note book with u and sketch the things u see around, I somehow followed it... i sketch for myself, but it's an amazing way of staying in touch with oneself.

Thanks Dear  - Restless for giving the chance to express us. Just love to spread glory of Indian culture, it's not superstiotous and it's just for everybody....I am mad for my India and it's culture, epics...trying to find its applicability in today's fast life...to spread the Massage of Universal Brotherhood...which is tought by my Beloved Sadgurudeva H. H. Shri Narayankaka Dhekane Maharajji. The Divine knowledge just come from the heart, of course by the grace of The True Sadguru and something beyond the brain and the mind. I had a beautiful name in my mind.....but can't leave Mohini. indiblogger is very nice plateform. Here we get bloggin help, nice friends....great thinkers as readers of our blogs...so it's just wonderful. I really love indiblogger. i will love to know your original name too.....Restless make me sometimes restless......(just kidding....) it' s a beautiful name.

The name came from the wispy delicateness of butterfly wings, beautiful to look at but the minute you touch them, the colors get destroyed. That's how some dreams are... That's what I do. Dream a lot and try to put them in pictures and words.

My blog is mostly about photography which is a passion for me and sometimes I spin and play around with words. This year I am doing a project of taking a photo everyday and trying to post as regularly as I can. I'm glad to have Indiblogger and hope to meet like minded bloggers and make some new friends.

I guess being judgemental is part of human nature :- ) That apart i would not follow a blog which has no compelling content relating to a specific area of interest. Frequency of the posts should be balanced..i prefer 3 to 4 posts a week. Shorter posts are any day better than long and rumbling ones. I feel , it's better to follow a few posts rather than subscribe to a stack full and ending up not having the time to read any of them properly.

ahh, well you made a compelling argument, I too have a strict policy when following a policy, not largely but yes, a fe genuine post, mostly similar to yours. Still, i find @least 1 blog worthy of a follow everyday. Anyways, was just curious how people make a decision on following a blog. thanks for the share! :)

btw, Why do most people are so judgemental and satirically lazy in following a blog? just curious!

Blogging happened to me as a total accident like most major inventions. I was always under the impression that blogging was for geeks and nerds and wasn't "cool" enough.

However, all that changed when I graduated and had a 3 month long furlough waiting for my employers to give me a joining date. So what started out of mere boredom is something very close to me today.

I blog about everything under the sun and everything that influences my life. Mix this with humour and sarcasm, and voila, you get Gogo's, my blog.

All the people close to me know me as Gogo and since my blog is so personal to me, I think Gogo's was the most appropriate title I could think of. I hope you enjoy it.

Basically my blog is related to travel.....with lot of history.....i did pen lot of travelouges with passion unfortunately i have not been able to publicise...maybe underplayed it.  It would be appropriate to mention that life is a journey and one should enjoy the drive.....and capture the moments in their digicam or whatever medium one has.  To do a gr8 job....one does not need approval or nod from their peers.  I am sure India will emerge as a gr8 destination in 2015..
