Editing your own blog is your own prerogative, but if there are contrary opinions or recanting of your stand should be justified in lieu of changed circumstances. I believe if you are sincere about your blog post than it is not a gr8 issue
If you are asking about indivine, then thats because it wont be fair to people who already voted for your article before you updated it.
