Yes! 

Why do they keep postponing the dates of the result? First it was the 20th, then 25th and now 27th! This is exasperating! Especially when this is one's first contest.

27th is not the date of results declaration. It is the date when the contest will be closed. It takes around 2-3 months for the results to be declared after the close of the contest.

Coming to the question of why the last date was extended... It is done when the target number of entries is not reached.

It is my first contest too .Excited about it .Hopefully just one more day to go and then the  suspense should be over .
