This marathon has now ended and results too have been declared. Only that the vouchers and the prizes are to be given. This marathon thing was quite different from the usual contests that we have here every now and then, because bloggers were given a period of almost one month to write as many posts as they could. The organisers had given us 5 keywords and we had to somehow base the themes of our posts along any or all of those keywords and so also had to include them in our writeups. So obviously it was not easy at all. Almost all of the table toppers wrote as many as 100 posts in a month (literally writing around 7-8 posts in a day)! Bushra alone wrote a total of 150 posts!
The top 10 contributors will be getting vouchers worth Rs 20,000 each (you can find their names on the leaderboard on the contest page) and the first 100 bloggers who submitted (and had their entries approved) will be getting Rs 350 for each of their approved submissions (for a maximum of 10 posts). Two bloggers (Arvind Sir and Saurav) won a car each - Arvind sir's post was chosen as the best of all the entries whereas Saurav won the Tiago for having the best quality across multiple entries.

Congrats to all the winners, I can't even wrap my mind around how to write such brilliant posts :D Mere mortal me can barely pen 2000 words before my mind is exhausted and I need to replenish my spirits with binge TV watching :D So now when are we getting our assured vouchers..and when are we having the next marathon? :D :D :D

Ah what a bliss... very recently I had to throw one of my office loafers (a pair of shoes precisely) after it was stinking like hell... I'm sure 3500 bucks would fetch me a good new nice smelling pair.

Finally the marathon comes to a close with all the winners declared!
This marathon started midway through to the IPL, continued right through the ICC WT20, then Euro 2016 came and went by and finally the Rio Olympics saw the world's best athletes slog it out... Right through all this there was this bunch of small time bloggers on IndiBlogger who were busy running their marathon and then waiting excruciatingly for the results.
Now onto the last stage, the medal distribution ceremony!!!
Any idea when the vouchers will be distributed?
Ok so the compensation of month long hard work is here. Will we get 3500 as cash or as voucher

Renie, Anoop : any word on this pls? 23,500 for 4 months would become a "forced buy" and not necessary a gradual purchase over the months
Flipkart accepts multiple vouchers... and they do have a lot of expensive things that one can buy. :)
