So most bloggers want a topic around Blogging.. some hav given very specific suggestions like making money through blogging.

However, lets have a GENERAL TOPIC on BLOGGING where evryone can giv his/her inputs.

More suggestions are welcome but if u feel any topic mentioned above is good, thn VOTE for it rather than giving a new topic. 

Good idea. But a word of caution: I believe backlinks are now looked down upon by Google. Could the SEO gurus on this forum confirm this?

If what I have heard is tru, perhaps a better way would be to link to a post within the text.

A week's time after 'topic selection' a good idea, 'coz like Shankar I too need some time to come up with a complete post.

 I vote for We Blog, Therefore We Are

I suggest we call this initiative Blog-A-Ton 'coz Blogathon is much too common.

Also we could initiate a blog and around 10-20 of us could become founding members, rest of the people can be given limited access to the blog and thus can post their opinions.

As many of us are blogging for money, I think our topic shouls start with INCREASING KNOWLEDGE ON FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

Making money out of blogs. I suggest these topics because if everyone say let 10 or 20 bloggers work on it and publish thier ideas about making money, we would explore ourselves to different ideas for making money.

Just imagine

100 bloggers or 10 bloggers in the begining writing there thoughts on one topic.

I will suggest  the Indi team please  pay attention to this and start a monthly topic competition on one topic where all six thousand indibloggers will write on one topic and winner will get reward .

2 make  the indibloggers rate each post etc if reward is not cash then also ok 

yup thts wat my idea is siddhu.. evn starting with 10 bloggers will b gr8.. with time we cn bring in more nd more of thm.

For any topic i will take it as a challange, but i just wanted that we should have limited topics to choose from so i didnt suggest any topic .

I will say try to choose a topic which will help create or send social message across globe or India.

Topics like

• Female Reservation
• dowary death
• what you will do if you see accident on the road
• Do you fear police if yes why
• If you have to choose between Indian or religion what you will choose 
• Please choose a topic which will send a social message sometype of awareness 
• do not choose fun topics like cricket or marriage on tv useles topics .

Hey SM, as the First Blogathon, i prsnly feel topic shud be  highly neutral nd relevant, one related 2 blogging is wat cums 2 my mind..

we all cn share our blogging xperiences or watevr.

Once it is established in future blogathons we cn tak up social issues nd othr stuff.
