IndiRank 4 & IndiRank widget

The much awaited IndiRank update has come - how are you all doing with your ranks? Personally, mine has crashed, thanks to not updating my blog in a while...

We've made the IndiRank widget as requested on this forum - we hope you like it, waiting to see your feedback. If you put it up on your blog, let us know here so we can all see it.

thanks Makrand,Would try your trick to post the ranking on my blog as wasnt able to put the widget on the wordpress blog.

@Renie - This is awesome! Completely above and beyond what we've been waiting for all this while :)

I can begin to understand how much effort must've gone into the whole thing. But since a forum is for feedback too, I cant help but share one thought I had:

The name 'Indirank' and a number (let's say 20/100) are a bit contradictory, in context of indiblogger. Since a higher indirank means a better rating, maybe we should call it by a more appropriate name, like indi-rating or indi-score.

While this was just a thought I wanted to get through, I certainly acknowledge that I have a limited view of the inner workings and once again, appreciate all your time and effort that has gone into this.

its so cool..i added the badges to all my blogs..the ranking is very low ,coz i don;t get time to update it but this badge will be a real motivator,from now on am gonna take good care of my blogs..they are the only place where i can be myself and pourdown my heart.

My work blog : http://resmi-jaimon.blogspot.com is ranked 75. I tried to get the code from Indirank list , but the link isn't working? From where do I get the code so that I can upload it in my blog.

Renie,

I have an e-mail on my previous e-mail id with my indirank for the blank. When i tried to get the widget it says no indirank available for my blog. I've just changed my e-mail id not my blog address. Could you let me know what could be the reason?

i started speaking to a frnd that my rank is 55 of 100 and he has a rank of 83...and guess what he started congratulating me...thats when i realised RANKS should -mean lower the better...and few other ppl took a deep breath and asked me..'is it a good rank 55?' AH!!i would rather like a rank!!1 2 3 4 5 6..so on..LOL...

i mean its tiring to explain ppl that these ranks are like google page ranks..higer the better....other than that this idea of ranking and getting it to display on ur blog has cranked me for a month at least...KuDOs

thanks i know that..i meant the very word RANK should mean 'lowe the better' ..this is INDISCORE o somethiing..'the higher the better' right??It was confusing for my friends ..they were not sure if i deserve a congrats at all..LOL

My blog was approved on Indiblogger today itself. Can that be a reason of "No rank" for my blog? Sorry for asking, but I am new here, and I couldn't find the answer after searching.
