After a completely working weekend, i struggled to finish off my entry. I submitted in the nick of time and I think I did not do justice to the ideas I originally had... lets see :/

I can't do a video now. I already spent 2.5 hours for that photo blog post and I'm very tired since morning. 

And I doubt if I will be able to do a video here in my hostel room. From where do I get the things required to make a video?

I have submitted my entry without images( suitable images r either in wallpaper format or belongs to particular websites, so dnt wanted to mess my story wid copyright issue). I gave the link of  Tata safari.com at the bottom of the story, is tht ok?? (as thy hv asked to include the link in the entries) 

Adding images is not compulsory unless you want a prize in the photo blog category ( for that you must post your own pictures )

You can add the link anywhere : at the starting or ending.

Hey, this is my first time trying to enter a contest and I just read that it is only for Indian residents. I have a redundant question but I will just ask because I want to be sure. I live in USA but I am an Indian does this make me ineligible?

Even though the T&C state that it is open to Indian residents, I think you too can participate as you are an Indian and if you win a prize, you can give an Indian postal address for the gift!  If you want to confirm, you can send a mail here. There is nothing you will lose by participating, so just enter ignoring the rules!

When this contest started, I wrote an excellent post (in my opinion) and also read the standard Terms and Conditions.

Just now, I read the contest page and saw that the entry/post must have a link to tatasafari.com.

Fortunately, I was able to modify the post to include the link. I am simply wondering if this is a mandatory rule (causing posts without the link to be automatically disqualified) and if this is a common requirement in IndiBlogger contests.

contests are held by sponsors to promote their brands, so its natural they make posting their link mandatory...otherwise whats the point of holding contest?

I wonder if they would be first filtering entries based on whether there is a link to the sponsor's website or not. 

But to be on the safe side, why not include it? It is just a link and nothing else. 

This contest is all about being crazy!  So, submit them without a second thought.

I don't know if meme photos is the correct term. 

What I meant was a post with pictures taken from the net and text added to the pictures to make it appear funny or express some opinion - the ones which are found on facebook. 

Not very regular on indiblogger.

But wanted to know..This contest..how mnany of you have already written..I wanted to know how fictious a blog post can be. If it fictious can some one use photographs from net.

Also can i also be trips from what i have already did.

(2) net photographs can be used.

(3) yes, you can write about your trips.

If it fictitious can some one use photographs from net.

Okay! I have a query :/

For our videoblog, do we need to upload a video on our blog or can we embed our video from our respective youtube page.

I have made a video, but I'm not able to upload it on my Tumblr blog, because it extends the duration of 5 minutes (Tumblr allows us only to post a video of max 5 mins). So, if I will upload my video on my youtube account and embed that on my Tumblr blog, would my entry be valid or not :/
