Footpath Vendors and Rape - Where's the Connection?

Rape is a horrible offence but this case of rape seems to be full of holes. I am talking of the Dr. Rustom Soonawalla case. Isn’t a man innocent until proven guilty? And proven guilty, not by the police but by the justice system?
