Not the early men - but Traders, Travellers & Monks used to visit and stay inside this cave monument. Night stay along with Safety must have been the prime reason behind chiselling out these caves. Located near to a trade route on the Western Coast, Karla Caves is a living example of how well equipped our 2nd century generation would have been? Honestly as a blogger, I feel proud of being born in a country as diverse as India, where every corner has a masterpeice to #explore.
