Since then, for someone from Malaysia, it was patchy, relying on whatever few articles and newsreels managed to reach us. This book helps to bridge that gap. It provides a detailed account of the critical events that took place after Nehru’s ‘tryst with destiny’ speech up to circa 2014, when a milestone event emerged.
