Every city has some quiet forgotten corners for offbeat enthusiasts. Hidden inside a quiet residential neighborhood of Hauz Khas, stand 2 intriguing monuments - Chor Minar, which literally means “Tower of Thieves” and Idgah. Built in 13th century during the reign of Alauddin Khalji from 1290-1320. Tower is a minaret-like structure wi225 holes meant to display severed heads of thieves, rebels and mongol prisoners. Stark reminder of brutal past, which is still haunting.
