Imports to be costlier as rupee hits new 2-year low

The rupee hit a new 2-year low against the dollar yesterday with the rupee quoting at 48.24 against the dollar. All indicators point to a further decline in its value against the dollar although not to the extent witnessed in the last few weeks.
