Quince Kashmir, (Cydonia oblonga), a small tree or shrub of the rose family (Rosaceae), grown for its edible fruit. Quince is the only member of the genus Cydonia and is native to Iran, Kashmir, Turkey, and possibly Greece and the Crimean Peninsula.
