Our next destination was Eibsee lake at the bottom of Zugspitze which is the tallest mountain in Germany. It was just 45 kms away from our base in Pensberg. The drive as always was beautiful! The Zugspitze is located in the Bavarian Alps near the border of Germany and Austria. It is part of the Wetterstein mountain range.
