Please review my blog

Hi Alok:

Took a quick look. A heartfelt blog, no doubt about it.

My suggestions are more format related.

1. My biggest suggestion is for you to add some color. I don't mean change your color scheme, just add some pictures to mix it up. The black and white can be viewed as monotonous, by the fickle readers who are used to color and jazz.

2. Liked your blog title. The contrasting words makes it interesting.

3. The posts are on the longish side. If you have a closed-knit set of readers who want this, then it is okay. If you are writing and hoping for a bigger audience, I'd suggest going for shorter posts.

The rest is just a matter of good old keeping at it. When you hit 50 or 100 posts, your readers will know you, and you will know what they like or dislike.

Don't stick onto the default colours! Change the colours and better you think more about adding some background images or something like that.

If you are going for longer posts expand the space for the post body.

Hi Alok

I liked both your blogs a lot. The idea of reveda is very nice. I will use that when I have a kid. :) The only suggestion I have is regarding the format along the lines of Ram's comments. Apart from that, your blogs depict your feelings. They are very interesting to read.

Quick note:

1) Change template. I don't like it. Perhaps it is only my opinion.

2) This applies to all of us - typos. The first blog title has a typo.I make typos too. Bet avoided.

3) I like the title - very nice.

You already have 3 followers. I wil make that 4.

Changed the template however some issues with the bandwidth has stalled that change....working on it..

As far as reviewing your blog - wall, i will agree with others, do add some colour to the site. 

I like the way you take insight into the life and thinking of common people in situations which all of us would have encountered - but most of us would have ignored.

One more suggestion, use justify as alignment option - it looks good to the eyes instead of the zigzags when left aligned.

rest is gud. Keep blogging

I dunno if you are updating the blog layout as i write, but the thing is - the first time I opened your blog, it had a white background. and, when i refreshed it, it had a light bloe layout.

just visited the other one... it is neat. I believe that your daughter will cherish this blog when she grows up.... a nice way to remember conserve all small memories

what kind of formatting do you want to do?

how to make it justified

when you click on new post option, it opens a new page. there, just above the body of your post, it has a toolbar. in that the following options are present (from left to right) - 

1. the dropdown is to choose the font
2. the next option is for text size
3. the next two buttons are for bold and italic styles
4. then is the text colour option
5. the next option is to add a link
6. the next four options are for alignment in the order - left, center, right, and justify
7. then is option for numbered list and bullet list
8. the next option is for block quote
9. then the option for spell check is present
10. the next option is to add an image
11. add a video
12. the last option is to remove formatting from a section.

By defaul, the posts go to left alignment. if you want to change the alignment of a part of your post, select the section and click on the alignment option you wish to apply.
