September IndiRank - possible delay

Folks, it's very likely that IndiRank for this month is going to be postponed further. Frown Our ISP has decided to fail us miserably this week, and it doesn't look like there's any fix coming soon. We're trying to find a workaround in the meantime, will update this thread when we have more information!

Everyone here are great lovers of food, especially cakes and pasteries. You will be having a tough time gathering people for your fast. :-)

Instead of going for ansan, I would prefer to start a food-blog. :)

I think IndiRank has no mercy on me. My IndiRank of 79 stayed for just one month. The update was too soon only to make my rank fall down to 61 due to very low frequency of blogging. I was waiting for the next IndiRank but this thraed makes me loose hope.

I think frequency of blogging has nothing to do with Indirank. I accelerated last month and posted more posts than older months, but my Indirank dropped from 80 to 72.

Last month there was a change in the ranking system with an inclusion of moz ranks and a few other factors, that was the prime reason for the dips. Majority of people faced this including me so both of you really need not to worry. Be happy :-)

And yep, frequency of posting does affect our ranks as Ranjith has rightly suggested. @Gaurav, the dip was probably due to the new system as replied by me above..

not in any hurry either :P Google gone nuts and shot down my PR from 3 to N/A even though I'm active and had 40 posts in September! :(

I think IndiBlogger should allow one to stay at a rank and not get a new one if someone wishes so. :-)

Unfortunate that it is delayed.

Good one, Arvind. You keep our spirits high with a laugh.

When you migrate from one host to another Google treats one of the blogs as a mirror and hence gives N/A for one of them. The other blog will be listed at old rating till the duplicate blog is delisted. Google is very Smart. Thanks Renie for "raising the bar" to 70 !

There is a website for ranking your webpage by various parameters and helps you to get better rank by improving those parameters. Its awesome, check it out here. What is more, it is totally free! If you score above 50 your page is  really good. Try it. My Indirank, which dropped to 65 thanks to my long absence of 5 months, improved to 70 in September.
