What are the techniques to promote your blog facebook page???

Guys,

I am looking to promote my blog facebook page. I need some inputs from some of you veterans on the topic. I mean the key is to get the "likes" and i guess big ticket promotions can get you tons. But for a regular blogger, what are some of the basic techniques to get your page out there?
