Let me be the first one to react for my own weird topic, i feel " Yes there should be a depromote tab, but important thing is, the person who posted should not able to see who depromoted it "At the end of the day, only ladies can top the votes table :P even now they are toppers...www.deepakkarthikspeaks.blogspot.com

I dont know if it will work properly. What I suggest is DISABLE voting on contest posts. That will save us from a number of things like spam indimails, people going on mindless promotion streaks, controversies regarding that top voted posts won after the contest is over...

Flat no from me, it will create hostilities. I am in competition and try to demote all other posts. This all will be complete nuisance. You have a small button , report this topic. Go ahead and use that. Report any unwanted post you dislike. Your name will be concealed. I think there cannot be any other better option. Disliking and nerve to show you are disliking, is a feat, I strongly am against.

I don't think there is any competition here.  I have seen people reading and appreciating eachother.  And yes even I am against demoting a post for numerous reasons.  But its someone's opinion and everyone is entitled to that, just like how we can write vitually anything on our posts .
