I received the mug it was broken, it was the first thing i ever received for my writing skills the broken mug has really broken my heart, kind of making me superstituous.

Bluedart should be taken up for such shoddy service.

AS, it's good you can joke about it. In your place, my reaction would have been bad; I hate the unprofessional approach that I am seeing a lot over here.

but as you know I'm a coward I can't react in your way, though I would have loved to [wink]

i think something heavy was kept on top of these boxes of mugs....delicate items shud have 'handle with care' warning sign on their packaging....i wonder if they forgot to do thatUndecided

Sfurti Juztamom
from Mumbai

Arey it was for a noble cause. I don't care about professionalism. Infact since they obviously lack the sense of packaging I think they shouldn't have offered anything in return. Infact they shouldn't in future offer anything.

No one wrote anything for these mugs. Let's all forget the mug!

Fairy Princess

Sfurti, you are right that none of us wrote for mug. My only problem is saying something not following it through. Even if they hadn't promised a mug, I would have written about it. The problem is not doing the things properly.

Sfurti Juztamom

PAnkti I agree with you totally, but saying all of us should let go of the mug OR the dream of the mug...It was for a good cause, Chaddo yaar!!

Nandini Deka
from Bombay

i dont think they'd break them on purpose, its a pure case of poor packaging by IB or whoever packed and mishandling by the courier company, we didnt write for the mugs...but they'd have been a cute momento having participated

Firstly, nobody is fighting here... secondly it is like the 'feel good' certificate you get after blood donation, so 'feel good' items are always priceless aren't they?... thirdly, may be they should have sent us a token of appreciation card or something instead of a heavy mug, even that would have saved postal charge... cheers guys [smile]

Or, we could send all the broken mugs to the creator of the Rock Garden in Chandigarh. He has created amazing things with broken stuff.
