On the right side bar on the forum page, click Categories ( just above IndiTalk ) --> General and Off Topic.

Threads from General and Off Topic category won't be shown on the fourm home page. 

I never noticed that yellow "categories" tab!

Ranjit, may be the soap what we get is the prize.. :).. i think we can accpet it , if they supply for an year.. it can be waste if you are stay in high humid areas.. :)..
