The one thing I have searched a lot is related to relative merits and demerits of having blog on free domain, owning just domain and self-hosting.

Nowadays, I am trying to monitor the trending topics - both in search and social networks. If I have an interesting perspective to add, I write a blog post on that topic.

How do  make my blog reader-friendly?

Anunoy Samanta
from Bardhaman

Few problems my eyes facing while reading your blog:

- small font size

- too many posts in the home page and they're placed so close to each other

- placing a "top 5 or 10 posts" widget in place of archive at left top sidebar would definitely help

So, rectifying these few minor things will make your blog more user friendly in my eyes [hope it helps]

Sasidhar Kareti
from Kavali

your template is ggod for personal blogs

Maintain a little bigger font as Anunoy said

Limit blogposts to 5 on home page

Also add a popular posts plugin

Anant Aggarwal
from Faridabad

As Anunoy said, too many posts on the home page and it is making it difficult to adjudge which picture references which article as one moves down due to their closeness. I feel you respect simplicity highly since you have a lot of white space where you can add plenty of widgets (and ads too). Can't comment on content since I rarely read blogs.

This is not to offend anyone, but it really saddens me when someone never turns up after putting up a query in the forum... I understand everyone is busy but people who squeezes out time to help him/her with the doubt must be having value of that time too [Reflective and cynical smile]
