You can use the IndiVine's Tag Search feature to look for blogs in thecategory you want. like if you'd like to search for blogs that have the keyword - "garden", it'll be this URL, and it lists blogs which have the tag "garden" associated. https://www.indiblogger.in/tagsearch.php?tag=garden.

There are a number of them, and as far as I recall, these are a few that I know and frequent regularly:

1. Pattu's Terrace Garden down south, Hyderabad, http://www.gardenerat60.wordpress.com/

2. GeekGardener's Weblog: geekgardener.in This has grown into a gardener's forum and an online gardening supplies store. I don't think the guy blogs any more, but you will be able to get a lot of help when it comes to container gardening, and soilless gardening from his blog and the forum as well, and this one's located in Bangalore, Karnataka

3. The Urban Gardener: http://the-urban-gardener.blogspot.com/ Again a great blog, but, then this one, I believe is being carried out on land. You may head on to see what and how Sunita Mohan, the blogger behind the Urban Gardener does, but, whatever she does, I absolutely like it, and the pictures are always delicious.

Just a few words of information, as fellow indibloggers have suggested my blog. I'm more into container gardening with flowers and such, but, yes, have tried my hands with some vegetable gardening in the past, and doing it currently as well, with varying degrees of successes. Not much to fill my plates with home grown veggies, but, then, getting them once a while is a treat in itself.

I did find Pattu's garden and GeekGardener. Both of them operate from out of chennai. 

I was wondering whether there are any bloggers from chennai who are into gardening. Especially vegetables/herb gardening.

Urban gardener has good photos but not the place to look for information.  The geekgardener does not seem to be active but still some good tips in that one.  I too am into home gardening, I think the satisfaction of growing your own stuff outweighes the time/money invested into it.
