Default Posts : New instead of Popular

I have been thinking, when browsing under IndiVine, the default view should be of 'New Posts' and NOT 'Popular Posts'.

The reason I feel this is when you see a new categorym, you tend to see the popular posts first, 'promoting them' further, while new viewing new posts requires further action, thereby making it easier for popular posts to remain at the top, making it just a trifle difficult for new posts to be discovered.

What do IndiBloggers feel?
