New to blogging : Use Twitter for getting traffic

@ Everyone .. I didnt quite make the connect here .. "Use twitter to get more traffic"?

Twitter is micro-blogging platform. There is another thread about micro-blogging somewhere in this forum. I am not sure how much blog traffic it can generate. But it can definitely help you be in touch with your friend. You see, you can tweet on mobile phones.You can also tweet about your blog.

Unfortunately tweeting is not broadcasting. You need to get hooked up to one another.

Tweeting helped pass information when Mumbai was burning. The people who were trapped inside the hotel were tweeting out information. The information flow could be:

a) web => tweeter => web

b) web => tweeter => mobile

c_ mobile => web => tweeter => web => mobile.

Those who have used it may please let us know if it has really helped you generate traffic.I will definitely be interested. And if I have got it all wrong about tweeter, please feel free to correct.

A definite way of generating traffic is subscribing to each others blog. That way we can know what is being blogged and follow it up.

I want to share anylytics of my blog http://thenarendramodi.blogspot.com As you know we got traffic through Direct Hits, Search Engines and Refering site.  If I will check all refering site who send visitors to my blog, Twitter is on TOP.This is twitter magic.

On Mumbai Terror day. People used Twitter to find news abt the same. Even I got a lot many visitors through Twitter in few min. This is how we can grow.

People, who also have good exp of Twitter can share here.
