Happy republic day!
I would love to see new ideas and ways to celebrate our Republic Day!
Here is my simple way of saying Happy Republic Day !
Call me a sentimental fool, but this happens every year and so can be almost be called a ritual.
I listen to "Aiy mere watan kay logon ..." and my eyes well up with tears. I have tried hard but even after so many years I find the tears impossible to control.

@Roma, ARjuna started a similar discussion and i had wrote a comment on his post. i'm stating the same here
On every Republic day, there should be 10 social issues on basis of priority listed down by the People and Govt of India and those issues should be solved by the next Republic Day.Gives a whole new meaning to the day every year. Every Indian with sense of repsonsiblity as a citizen should participate and work on those issues and see how far the nation was united in solving those issues.This will show if India has the real strength, power and capability to fight and solve issues within the span of 12 months.
